Sport In South Africa Golf, Cricket, Rugby & Football (World Cup 2010) Holidays

South Africa is a great country for sport. The outdoor lifestyle and competitive nature of the average South African ensures that the country is a mecca for sports enthusiasts. Golf

There are some excellent courses and, naturally, good hotels to fit varying budgets close by. You will be amazed at the cost of green fees - from as little as £30 per day - but you will need to book to ensure availability when you arrange you holiday. Cricket and Rugby

Football

As the English Premier league bares testament, the predominantly Black community in South Africa has produced some very fine players. The national team, Bafana Bafana, has also played with some success in the World Cup. We naturally support South Africa's staging of the 2010 World Cup - long overdue in our view. We can help you experience local soccer, much of which is played in the townships but for the World Cup will feature some excellent newly built stadiums.
