The property is a small boutique B&B is set in the heart of historic Swellendam and the accommodation is provided in the grounds and comprises 5 suite style rooms. These are beautifully decorated and appointed in the owners’ inimitable style and are generous in size, as are the bathrooms. The property also has a plunge pool to cool off in the heat of the day. Home-style cooking is the order of the day and breakfasts are a feast!
About the location
There are a number of excellent local restaurants for an evening meal. From here you reach Cape Agulhas, the southern tip of Africa, which as a 1 1/2 hour drive. The the Bontebok National Park can be can be enjoyed in half a day and here you will see the eponymous antelope, the Bontebok, which was saved from extinction by the establishment of this park in 1934. There is also a great local wine route.
